Cobras Spinner Backs Proteas Seam Attack

Nashua Cape Cobras spinner Claude Henderson believes the Proteas' unconfirmed decision to bowl Monde Zondeki against Bangladesh in the second test is an indication of their plans for Australia.

It's understood the Cobras fast bowler will take the field at Centurion tomorrow, which rules him out for the Cobras MTN Domestic Championship match against the Gestetner Diamond Eagles on Friday.

Henderson believes it's the right call.

"The Aussies have struggled as well with their spinners, so I think they're going to prepare nice quick, bouncy wickets. So in that regard I think Harris will be the main spinner to try and keep one side tight and let the quickies run from the other side."

"Maybe it's good to give Monde a run as well. He needs to bowl and he's the type of bowler that if he gets overs under his belt he'll get better and better."
